A deep sea dive through a speculative ecology, crystallising strange and hidden microscopic life forms; a cinematic landscape that strives to document places where plastic has reached that cameras can’t see.

Rhythmic pulls and pushes, ecopoetic ebbs and flows. Bioluminescent creatures are drawn from the scientific depths, in a ceaseless descent down an oceanic trench.

To me the oceans dance to the tune of chlorophyll: A textual response to the film by Dr. Brenda Parker

A short essay in response to the film written by Dr. Brenda Parker, a biochemical engineer who is interested in the use of biology to manufacture new materials. She is particularly interested in how we can harness photosynthetic systems such as microalgae for biotechnology.

On Eco-anxiety, a Growing Phenomenon: A textual response by Dr. Tiffany Carter (Positive psychology, Msc)
